An eagled-eyed son of one of our employees took this picture of the back-up flame as the Olympic torch journeyed though the City of Perth
Spectraglass produces the lantern glass for the modified miner’s lamp which allows the torch to be re-lit should it be extinguished; something of a routine requirement given the current inclement weather!
We are clearly very proud to be associated with such a prestigious event and we hope the Games are a great success…especially for Team GB
